Hallmark not working for ya? The folks over at the Strong Families initiative put together some beautiful Mother’s Day ecards that celebrate all types of mothers and families.

I work on Broadway right across the street from Frank Ogawa Plaza. Can’t wait to see folks gather before I’m off today.
When you’re running to catch the bus that’s coming up behind you and people start to audibly root for you. And when you do catch said bus, they slow clap for you. Oh, Oakland.
